Get ready for an exciting new school year at Norwood! Orientation and Opening Day are almost here! Please take a moment to review key dates to ensure a smooth and successful start to the 2026-2027 school year.
Below are the important dates you need to know to ensure your student starts off on the right foot. Be sure to save them, and stay tuned for additional reminders and updates as the school year approaches.
Important Dates:
- Health Forms Deadline: Saturday, August 1
- Back-to-School Materials Published in HawksNest: Friday, August 14
- Optional Kindergarten Conferences: Tuesday, September 2-Friday, September 4
- Orientation & PK Classroom Visits; Optional Conferences for Grades 1-8: Friday, September 4
- First Day of School; Optional PK Conferences (via Zoom): Tuesday, September 8 (PK dismisses at 10:30 a.m.)
- Lower School Back-to-School Night: Thursday, September 17, 6:15 p.m.
- Welcome Back Picnic: Saturday, September 19, 4:00-5:30 p.m.
- Middle School Back-to-School Night: Thursday, September 24, 6:15 p.m.
