    At the FIRST LEGO League Maryland State Championship on Saturday, February 21, 2026, Norwood's Green Hawks robotics team delivered an incredible performance, competing against the top 70 teams in the state. For the second year in a row, they ranked among the top eight teams in the tournament, securing an impressive fourth place overall and qualifying—again—for an FLL International Invitational Tournament.

  • A WEEK OF EXPLORATION: INTERSESSION AT NORWOOD

    Each winter, Norwood’s seventh and eighth graders take part in one of the most anticipated experiences of their time in the Middle School: Intersession. Held early in the second semester, this four-day program offers students a break from their regular academic schedule and an opportunity to explore new interests through one- and two-day experiential learning activities.
