Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and school spirit—Norwood Movie Night Under the Stars is back and better than ever! Join us on Friday, October 24, 6:00-8:00 p.m., for an evening of fun, food, friendship, and film as we screen the family favorite Ratatouille on a large outdoor screen.

Join us for our PK and Kindergarten Open House on Saturday, October 18, from 10:00–11:30 a.m. and discover why Norwood is a place where young learners thrive! Tour our classrooms, meet our talented early childhood educators, and see firsthand how our child-centered program fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning from the very first day.

The Norwood Debate Team had an incredible showing at the Washington–Arlington Speech and Debate League’s Season Opener at Westfield High School in Chantilly, VA, on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Out of 82 teams, one Norwood team went undefeated and placed fifth overall, while another team also went undefeated and took first place overall!

The Norwood Admission Office hosts a number of opportunities for prospective families to visit our 40-acre campus and see our unique child-centered program for grades PK-8 in action. We look forward to meeting you!

Six times a year, the Norwood community comes together for Manna Monday, our school-wide initiative to support Manna Food Center, the largest food bank in Montgomery County. Students, families, and staff collect healthy food donations, working together to help neighbors in need. It’s a meaningful way for our community to give back and make a real difference—one Monday at a time.
