Norwood is a great school for all types of students, and it will definitely help your child grow as a person and help them to understand how to deal with different people. The teachers are amazing and helpful and are willing to take that extra step for all their students.
Noah
Norwood is a loving community open to anyone of any kind. The teachers are very kind and are willing to help you if you have difficulties, and the student body is very friendly. From subjects like art and athletics to English and science, all the subjects are great.

Norwood is a warm and comforting place, and it would really help your child come of out their shell. All the teachers and staff are kind and welcoming, and they will go out of their way to help you with anything, not just school related.

Norwood helps students grow into the individuals they are striving to be and guides them on the path to discovering who they are as young adults. I will miss the sense of community and family that the whole school has together.

The Norwood community has blessed me with so many opportunities for which I will be forever grateful. In my eight years at Norwood, I have overcome my shyness and made new friends. I have met teachers who have had an impact on me, the way I learn, and the way I lead my life my life.

There are three specific aspects I cherish most about Norwood: the expertise of the faculty and staff, the endless opportunities, and the endearing community. Whether it be the faculty or the staff, I have not met anyone that was not dedicated to creating a prosperous environment for all people at Norwood.
Angel
Norwood helped me grow my interests while pushing me to try something new and take risks. But more importantly, I can build a community of people with similar interests and create meaningful connections with my peers. That is what I will miss most about Norwood: the community.

My time at Norwood has been amazing. I’ve made so many unforgettable memories and had so many teachers I will be forever grateful for. It’s been a pretty crazy six years, but I’ve loved every minute of it. Thank you, Norwood, for all that you have done for me. I am forever grateful.
Jeremy
I don’t know what my future holds, but I do know that whatever it is, I will be ready, which is fully thanks to the knowledge and values that I have acquired here. Norwood has not only done a great job at getting people into and prepared for high schools, but it also has prepared us to be people comfortable with the fact that we are all moving on.
The ringing of the Norwood Bell is a common sound during the school day. It signifies the end of recess and time to return to class. Lower schoolers (and we suspect some middle schoolers) enjoy the opportunity to ring the bell with permission from their teacher. On graduation day, it is a tradition that each eighth grader ring the bell one last time (pictured in the photos above) before the ceremony begins.
