I come from a large family, and I appreciate that Norwood offers the same loving support network for my son. I love learning about wine-making regions/styles, concocting in the kitchen, socializing, traveling, Latin dancing, and anything outdoors!

I am a philanthropist, contributing thought leadership and resources to several nonprofit organizations in the Washington, DC area. I serve on the board of Washington English Center, which teaches English to immigrants and refugees both online and in person. I also serve on the advisory board for the 11th Street Bridge Park, a seven-acre civic space expected to break ground in 2026. The Park will provide a physical and metaphorical bridge to reconnect neglected DC communities back to the city. I am also an aspiring writer and enthusiastic supporter for both my children’s intense athletic lives (golf and softball).

About you

Both of my children benefited immensely from the warm, inclusive environment at Norwood. They have each discovered their unique strengths and interests and they both feel equally “known” at Norwood. They have loved the amazing specials at Norwood and enjoy having Art, Music, Spanish, Science, and PE multiple times a week. They also love the all-school chapels and learning the value of the month! As for me, I’m a former educator and Admissions Associate, so I bring a lot of knowledge about independent schools. I see where Norwood shines, and I believe it’s the friendly PK-8 model and the desire to truly know each student that make it such a special place.
