Interested in Signing Up for Bus Service?

Transportation routes for the 2019-2020 school year will be finalized in spring. Once routes are set, registration will open and all new and returning families will be notified. If you are interested in utilizing Norwood's bus transportation program and want to learn more about cluster pick-up/drop-off locations, fees, and policies and procedures, please visit the Transportation Page. We do not anticipate any of the pick-up or drop-off locations to change although we will adjust if rider interest warrants it. We do plan to offer an additional route to Prince George's County. Implementation of that route will be dependent on sufficienct ridership. Afternoon bus service runs at 3:45 p.m. for Mass. Ave/Westbard Ave. and 4:45 p.m. for Mass Ave/Chesapeake Street, NW and Northern Virginia. Please note: For security reasons, specific pick-up and drop locations are not posted publicly but are available by contacting Bill Teachum.

If you have any questions about Norwood's Transportation Program, please contact Bill Teachum in the Business Office.

Family Information Update and Health Forms

In early May, all returning and new families will be sent a request to review and update their family information. In this update, new families will be asked to also provide emergency contact and health insurance information. Additionally, at that time, families will be provided with a link to health forms. Health forms are due August 1. Watch for the Family Information Update email!

After Care and Enrichment Class Sign-up

Over the summer, all new and returning families are sent registration information for After Care. Norwood will accommodate all interested families in After Care, so there is no need to be concerned about reserving a spot. Click here for Fee Information (subject to change but not likely). The fall Enrichment class schedule will be available the first week of school. If you are interested in specific information about After Care and after-school Enrichment classes at Norwood, please see the After School Programs Handout or contact the Auxiliary Program Office.
