NORWOOD DEBATE WINS BIG AT THE FIRST TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR
The Norwood Debate Team had an incredible showing at the Washington–Arlington Speech and Debate League’s Season Opener at Westfield High School in Chantilly, VA, on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Out of 82 teams, one Norwood team went undefeated and placed fifth overall, while another team also went undefeated and took first place overall!
Among 164 competitors, one Norwood eighth grader was recognized as the 13th speaker, and another eighth grader earned the title of number-one speaker overall! Wow!
