STRING ORCHESTRA, BAND, AND CHOIR EXCEL AT KINGS DOMINION FESTIVAL OF MUSIC
Middle school musicians from Norwood, including members of the string orchestra, band, and choir, earned impressive accolades at the adjudicated Kings Dominion Festival of Music on Saturday, May 2. Competing against student ensembles from across the region, our musicians showcased outstanding talent, preparation, and teamwork throughout the day.
Our student musicians performed beautifully, represented Norwood with excellence, and shared their talents with confidence and heart throughout the day.

ORCHESTRA: 🥇 First Place in its division 🌟 Best Overall 🎼 Superior Rating 🎯 Outstanding score of 97.25!
BAND: 🏅 4th Place in its division 🎼 Excellent Rating
CHOIR: 🥈 2nd Place in its division 🎼 Excellent Rating
After their performances, students enjoyed some well-deserved fun at the park! We could not be more proud of our talented musicians and dedicated music teachers: Devon Oviedo (string orchestra), Joe Cunliffe (band), and Rebekah Bridges (choir).
