Norwood Arts Week Takes Center Stage May 7-14, 2026

Since its founding in 1952, the arts have been an integral part of the Norwood program, nurturing creativity, confidence, and joyful expression in our students. This spring, we are thrilled to celebrate that tradition during Norwood Arts Week, May 7–14, as we showcase the talents of our middle school students across the performing and visual arts.
The week kicks off with our 7th and 8th grade spring musical, The Addams Family Jr., a delightfully spooky and entertaining production you won’t want to miss. Performances will take place on Thursday, May 7, and Friday, May 8, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 9, at 2:00 p.m.

Music takes center stage on Tuesday, May 12, with the Middle School Choir and Handbells Concert at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Middle School Band and Orchestra Concert on Thursday, May 14, at 7:00 p.m. These performances highlight the skill, dedication, and collaboration of our student musicians.

Throughout the week, new artwork from our middle school students will be on display in the Lauryn M. Sutton Gallery, offering a vibrant look at the creativity and artistic growth happening across grades.

We hope you will join us in celebrating the arts at Norwood and the many ways our students bring their talents to life.
