We are excited to welcome grandparents and special guests on Tuesday, November 25, for one of Norwood’s most treasured traditions: Grandparents & Special Guests Day. This beloved event offers students the chance to share their school experience with the important people in their lives. It’s always a morning filled with joy, pride, and meaningful connection!
Guests will have the opportunity to spend time with their Norwood student, experience the warmth of our community, and see firsthand how curiosity and learning come alive in the classroom. From the incredible concert to fun, hands-on activities in classrooms, this special day celebrates the relationships that help shape and support our students.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
8:15–8:45 a.m. Continental Breakfast
Rales Athletic Center Begin the morning with coffee, light refreshments, and time to connect with other Norwood families.
8:45–10:00 a.m. Thanksgiving Chapel & Concert
Rales Athletic Center Join us for what is often referred to as the best concert of the year! From our PK students to our eighth graders, students will treat you to an incredible showcase of music, featuring our band, string orchestra, and choral groups.
10:15–11:25 a.m. Classroom Visits Guests will visit classrooms to engage in some fun activities and see students and teachers in action.
11:30 a.m. Dismissal & Family Photos Steuart Courtyard Family photos, taken by a professional photographer, will be available in the Steuart Courtyard immediately following dismissal—a lovely way to remember this special day!
Parking Information
Ourparking plan will depend on the weather and will be confirmed closer to the event. We kindly ask guests to arrive early and allow extra time, particularly if it is raining. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we work to ensure a safe and smooth arrival for everyone.
