Norwood 7th and 8th Graders Present "Matilda the Musical Jr." May 4-6, 2023
The children are rising up! They're out to teach the grown-ups a lesson! Don't worry, this isn't happening in Norwood's classrooms, but it is happening on the Norwood stage! This year's seventh-and eighth-grade spring musical is the fantastical "Matilda the Musical, Jr." to be performed on May 4, 5, and 6.
Based on Roald Dahl's beloved book, Matilda the Musical Jr. is the story of a precocious five-year-old prodigy who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires with her courage and cleverness. Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda Jr. is a delightful show not to be missed. Mark your calendar with the following three performances:
