Norwood Opens the New Marriott Early Childhood Building for Grades PK-2
The Norwood community celebrated the completion of the new Marriott Early Childhood Building with a community celebration, including all students, faculty, and staff members, on Friday, September 9, 2022.
More than 550 students, faculty, and staff filled the beautifully renovated Gosnell Courtyard, all wearing Norwood blue t-shirts emblazoned with the school motto: How you lead your life matters. This guiding principal resonated more than ever as Head of School Matthew Gould reflected on the dedication and generosity of the entire Norwood community in making the new Marriott Early Childhood Building a reality.
"Through commitment, through a great strategic plan, and a sharp focus on the children in our care, we have persevered and we've done something really great together," he commented.
After Mr. Gould's remarks and completing the chapel program, students in grades 3-8, most of whom had not seen the interior of the new building, were able to tour the new learning spaces, including the beautiful new Maureen Sievers Library. Students and teachers in grades PK-2 were excited to show off their spacious classrooms and can't wait to have these older students back for buddy events in the very near future!
