Norwood Students Perform at the Independent School Treble Choir at Washington National Cathedral
On Tuesday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m., Norwood fifth and sixth grade choir students, along with select third and fourth graders, performed at this year's Independent School Treble Choir Festival at Washington National Cathedral.
Dedicated to young singers, the concert is held every March, bringing together treble choirs (choirs with unchanged voices) from several area independent schools. "Each school sings two songs of their own and then at the end of the concert everyone stands up together to sing three songs and make an epic sound in an epic space," explains Middle School Choir Teacher Max Nolin. "This is a fantastic opportunity for our choir students to experience singing in one of the best acoustics in the country!"
Located in Bethesda, MD, Norwood School develops students in grades PK-8 into confident lifelong learners who have the academic, character, and leadership skills to succeed in high school and beyond.
