ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO VISIT NORWOOD:
Offered several times throughout the year, a "Morning with Matthew" coffee offers prospective parents the opportunity to meet with our head of school, Matthew Gould, in an informal and intimate setting. By limiting the number of participants, parents are able to engage with Matthew in conversations about program philosophy, strategic initiatives, and other topics of interest.
All coffee times are from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Quick campus tours are available after the discussion. Tuesday, October 22 Tuesday, November 19 Wednesday, December 11 (limited to parents of students of color) Tuesday, January 14 Tuesday, February 11
An individual tour combined with a parent conversation provide families with the opportunity to see Norwood students and teachers in action and allow the admission team an opportunity to get to know your family better and help to bring your child's application to life. Additionally, they provide parents with time to ask questions and share information specific to their family and child.
A lower school tour and parent conversation (grades PK-4) last about 90 minutes and are for adults only. A middle school tour and parent conversation (grades 5-8) also lasts 90 minutes but students are welcome to join.
Although required as a component of the application process, this tour and conversation can be scheduled prior to submitting an application. Tours are available throughout the year but are most effective during school months when you can see our school day in action. If there is not an available or convenient slot when scheduling online, please call the Admission Office at 301-841-2130 and we will work with you to figure something out!
