Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 6, 1:00-3:00 p.m., and plan to attend our open house, Experience Norwood, to meet students, parents, teachers, division directors, and our head of school. Children welcome!
We'll be publishing registration information during September.
Schools should send a current report card/progress report/transcript and any standardized test scores (if applicable) by February 1 (sibling documents by December 7). If your school does not have a transcript or progress report, school personel should indicate such on the Transcript Release Form and return only that to Norwood. The Transcript Release Form is available to print through your Ravenna account.
Norwood is test optional for grades PK-3. 4th grade applicants may submit either the elementary SSAT or WISC. 5th-8th grade applicants may submit either an ISEE or an SSAT. Testing results are due by February 1 (sibling testing due December 7).
Norwood School is one of many DC-area independent schools that have partnered with Ravenna to manage the application process. The Ravenna-Hub is a web site that helps families coordinate and complete the various steps required to apply to Norwood. Through Norwood's page on the Ravenna-Hub, families can register for admission events (including our open house, individual tours and conversations, and Mornings with Matthew), submit an application, electronically request teacher recommendations, track the application process, and view your decision notification.
At various points on our website, you will be directed to Ravenna and asked to create an account or login into a previously created account. If you are ready to create an account right now, click here.
