Norwood is excited to launch Haiku, a new learning management system to better serve teachers, students, and parents. Beginning in the 2012-2013 school year, Norwood teachers can use Haiku to post classroom information, assignments, assessments, discussion boards, learning resources, photos, video, and more.Teachers in the primary grades will begin with the very basics of Haiku. Middle school teachers will immediately begin using Haiku for posting homework, but it will quickly become a hub of communication and collaboration as teachers, students, and Norwood families become more familiar with its many functions and ease of use. Every Norwood parent has been assigned a Haiku Parent Account, providing access to the content posted by their child's/children's teachers.
