Adding Norwood to your list of favorites
We are glad that you are adding Norwood to your list of "Favorites," or making us your "Home Page." The three major web browsers are America Online, Internet Explorer, and Netscape. We have provided directions for all three of these below, starting with America Online. To jump down to the directions for Internet Explorer, you can click here. Go to the Norwood School home page by typing www.norwoodschool.org into the address bar, and then clicking the "Go" button.Click on the heart in the upper right corner of the Norwood window.
Click on "Add to Favorites" in the box that pops up.
Next time you want to come back to our site, you simply go to your Favorite Places menu and click on Norwood School.
(This only works in version 5.0)
To change the default browser home page:
On the My AOL menu on the AOL toolbar, click Preferences.
In the Preferences window, click WWW.
In the Home Page section of the General tab, type the web address http://www.norwoodschool.org in the Address: box.
Click the "OK" button. From now on, Norwood School should be available to you whenever you click either the "home" icon, or "Go to the Internet."
Making Norwood Your "Home Page" in Internet Explorer:1. Open the Norwood homepage using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
2. Click on Tools, then choose Internet Options.
3. You should be on the "General" tab.
4. In the Homepage area, click the "Use Current" button. This automatically makes Norwood your homepage.
1. Open the Norwood homepage on Internet Explorer and then click on Favorites. 2. Click on "Add to favorites". A window will open confirming that Internet Explorer will add this page to your Favorites list and confirm the name of the page.
3. Click OK to continue.
4. You may also file Norwood within a folder in your list of Favorites. Click "Create In" to file the page in an existing folder or click New Folder to add another folder to your list.
Making Norwood Your "Home Page" in Netscape Navigator:2. Choose Edit from the menu bar and then choose Preferences.
3. On the left side of the window for Preferences, there are several categories to choose from. Select Navigator.
4. Under the subheading "Navigator starts with," choose Home page.
5. In the same window under the Home page option, select Use Current Page, then click OK.
2. Click Bookmarks (on the upper left of the page, find Bookmarks next to the Location and url).
3. Choose Add Bookmark to automatically add Norwood to your list of bookmarked web sites. 4. Choose File Bookmark to file your Norwood bookmark in a separate folder. Bookmarks can also be found under the Window option on your menu bar.
