Extended Day
The Extended Day program is available to students in kindergarten through second grade from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The program consists of a snack time followed by a recess period. The children play outside, weather permitting, and/or stay inside creating art projects or playing games.

AfterCare
The AfterCare program is divided into two groups: kindergarten through third grade and fourth through eighth grade. It is designed this way in order to best accommodate the special needs of these two age levels. After Care is available from 3:30 to 5:50 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and from 2:30 to 5:50 p.m. on Friday.

The aftercare program for students in kindergarten through third grade consists of a snack time, supervised homework time as necessary, and a recess period. The children may play outside on the playground or stay inside and participate in activities that may include art projects, board games, organized play in the gymnasium, and supervised activities in the computer lab.

The study hall program for students in fourth through eighth grade provides a quiet place to work before and after sports activities, piano lessons, and programs such as Cub Scouts. The teacher on duty will keep track of the comings and goings of our busy students, making certain there is a place and time to complete their numerous homework assignments. Snack and supervised free time are also part of the study hall schedule.

Funtastic Friday
Funtastic Friday is an after school enrichment program offered to kindergarten through second grade students on Friday afternoons. Funtastic Friday is designed to provide a fun-filled learning environment for children. Groups are made up of students in mixed and alike grades, allowing the children the opportunity to work with older and younger children. The activities offered include arts, sports, literature and science. Specific class descriptions and registration forms are available on the Spring 2007 Funtastic Friday brochure. Funtastic Friday is designed to stimulate creativity and encourage the use of social and cooperative skills.

*The minimum charge for any portion of time spent in any after school program is $7. A regular set of days may be purchased if paid in advance (e.g. every Tuesday and Thursday until 4:30 for the fall sports season, etc.) The rates for such purchases are 80% of the applicable daily drop-in rate. Drop-ins are always welcome. A child’s attendance on non-purchased days will be charged the regular drop-in daily rate.

Charges will be billed and due with the annual fees in September. All other fees will be billed monthly. Note: Late pick-up charge after 5:50 p.m. is $25 per 15 minutes or fraction thereof.
