Summer Reading Lists

Norwood asks students in all grades to participate in summer reading.

The 2024 Summer Reading Lists will be available in late June. We will send new families an email as soon as they are available!

Looking for Summer Camps for Your Children?

Would you like your child to get familiar with Norwood before the school year begins in the fall? Think about signing up for a session or two at Summer at Norwood. Tell the camp office that your child will be a Norwood student in the fall so they can try to place them with other future Blue Hawks!

Interested in Signing Up for Bus Service?

Transportation routes for the 2024-2025 school year will be finalized in spring. Once routes are set, registration will open and all new and returning families will be notified. If you are interested in utilizing Norwood's bus transportation program and want to learn more about cluster pick-up/drop-off locations, fees, and policies and procedures, please visit the Transportation Page. We do not anticipate changing pick-up or drop-off locations, although we will adjust if rider interest warrants it. Please note: For security reasons, specific pick-up and drop locations are not publicly posted but are available by contacting Bill Teachum.

If you have any questions about Norwood's Transportation Program, please contact Bill Teachum (Business Manager) in the Business Office.

Family Information Update and Health Forms

In early July, all returning and new families will be sent a request to review and update their family information. In this update, new families will be asked to also provide emergency contact and health insurance information. Additionally, at that time, families will be provided with a link to health forms. Health forms are due August 1. Watch for this Family Information Update email!

After Care and Enrichment Class Sign-up

Over the summer, all new and returning families are sent registration information for After Care. Norwood will accommodate all interested families in After Care, so there is no need to be concerned about reserving a spot. For after care fees, view the "2023-2024 After Care Program Rate Overview" sheet under the Important Downloads menu on the right (2024-2025 program and rates may be subject to change). The fall Enrichment class schedule will be available the first week of school. If you are interested in specific information about After Care and after-school Enrichment classes at Norwood, please contact the Auxiliary Program Office.
